Marvin "Marvelous" Sonsona known in the Philippines as the next Manny Pacquiao and the second youngest boxer in the world who gain a world title. He defeated Jose Lopez of Puerto Rico for the WBO Super Flyweight title last September 5, 2009. Although, the boxing belt was vacated on November 20, 2009 prior to his draw result against challenger Alejandro Hernandez.

Sonsona at the age of 19 was scheduled to fight with the Puerto Rican unbeaten boxer as well. He will face on ring Wilfredo “WV2” Vasquez, Jr., the son of two time world boxer champion - Wilfredo Vazquez.
